Trees, mist, pretty things, and thoughts from the heart of a daughter of the King
Wow Sheila! That is AWESOME! Lovely song! I don't think it needed pedal to it. It sounded all happy and jumpy without it and I like it that way. :D Your fingers can move really fast! I like playing slow songs because my fingers do not want to move quickly. They get all tangled up. :P Does your flute help with that? Oh, I really like the story that goes along with it too. It is always hard for me to think of a story that will fit my songs. Great job!Love,Mariah
Thanks Maya!Solution for fingers tangling up: Technique! Though often not so fun, it goes a long ways. Pick a few keys and work on the scales for them hands separate, and then put them together. Work on some triads, make up some easy finger exercises, keep them limber. :)Flute may help a little, but really, it just boils down to training your fingers with technique, be it flute or piano. I know! Coming up with a story can be pretty hard. I'm so glad I have Jen to give me fabulous stories! They sure do the trick. :DHugs!Sheila
I love your story! It is so funny!Great job on the piano. I think that it could be played with or without pedal and still sound great. My biggest problem with that piece would be memorizing. That's always my difficulty with music.
That's neat!! What exactly is vlogging? I've never heard of it before.
Thank you!Britta: Vlogging is kind of like blogging on video. Take the b off blogging and put the v from video on and you get vlogging! :D
Okay, I get it! =]
Dear Sheila,It sounded fantastic without pedaling. And I love the story, too! I could just see it happening when I closed my eyes and just listened :)
P.S. Loved seeing the cars going by reflected by the piano!
